At Three Cedars Bookkeeping, we believe that great bookkeeping isn’t just about balancing numbers. It’s about bringing peace of mind to business owners who have enough on their plates already. Our mission is to make your financial life simpler, clearer, and more consistent, so you can run and grow your business with confidence, not confusion.
Hi, I’m Stephanie, the founder, owner, and lead bookkeeper of Three Cedars Bookkeeping.
I started this business not just because I love numbers (which I do!), but because I’ve been in your shoes. For two years, I ran my own small business reselling rare toys and stuffed animals, hunting for inventory, packing orders, and figuring out how to keep the books straight at night after the kids went to bed. That experience gave me a deep respect for the creativity, resilience, and hustle it takes to run a small business.
Now, I use my training (MBA + accounting background) and my 10+ years of Fortune 500 corporate experience to help other entrepreneurs stay financially clear and confident. I love bringing calm to messy books, structure to vague goals, and a sense of ease to busy business owners.
I live in Richland, WA with my husband and three young kids. Outside of work, you can usually find me on the tennis court, solving word games (I’m hooked on NYT Connections), shopping at thrift stores, or running the day-to-day chaos of family life.
The name Three Cedars is inspired by my three children, each of whom carries the Chinese character 杉 (shān), meaning cedar, in their names. In many cultures, cedar trees symbolize strength, resilience, and longevity. To me, they also represent growth, protection, and rootedness, qualities I hope to bring to every client relationship.
Naming this business after my children is a reminder of what matters most: building something lasting, grounded in care, and created with intention. It’s also my promise to treat your business with the same attention and respect I’d want for my own family.
